Dr. Rizi has been practicing cardiology since 1981. His passion for the field has pushed him to be in constant search for the newest discoveries and technology. He is committed to learning more about his patients and working with them towards a healthier lifestyle.
In 1973, he graduated from Isfahan University Medical School. In 1977, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He then completed his cardiology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals.
He completed his training in 1981 at the University of Michigan where he did additional work in Clinical & Nuclear Cardiology involving animal & human research.
Dr. Rizi accepted a job offer in Southern California and is proud to call Long Beach his home since then.
